I have one block of each quilt on a 'design poster' but unfortunately I took it to the church yesterday without taking a picture. These are going to be the best quilts ever.
It's the time of year when I figure out what our congregation's quilt donation will be. The last 2 years we have made log cabin blocks using my scraps. See one here. We also did a heartstrings and a disappearing 9-patch. This year Lisa said, 'Lets do something different.' This is what we decided on:
I was inspired by a quilt in Kaffe Fassett's book.(I do not have the book, but it is pretty simple. I looked up golden rectangle and made it those proportions.) So we will see if it looks good in my calico and assorted old scraps. I've done 1 block and it looks fabulous. Each triangle will have a color theme.
This next one I've labeled 'Funky Squares' and it is a direct copy of one I saw on this blog.
This is the best I could do to depict the Mile-a-Minute quilt I have in my head. I'm going to try to get each column to be like the one on the left; rainbowish. We needed something that would use small scraps.
I have enough green log cabin blocks left over from last year (I ran out of time before I ran out of blocks.) We also have some purple heart strings started from last year. Is this the year we actually use up one of my bins of scraps?

I really like all your quilts, but the last one with the three panels is just gorgeous.
You have some great quilt ideas.
