dyeing wool continued....

So I've been piecing wool leaves;

but needed some more 'orange' wool so made another trip to the art store and got some burnt orange dye.

and this is what I got. Doesn't look very orange does it? More peach....so I went to the store AGAIN and got another container of pumpkin orange and am over-dying the above right now. I am using the stove top method and get up and stir it every few minutes. ....so I will have an update soon, after it dyes, cools, dries, washes, and finally dries again.
Last time I didn't have any synthrapol, so went ahead and sewed a couple blocks (4) then washed in synthrapol then dried it then got to press the seams open again....not fun.
