Funeral Quilt

A friend's grandmother died so she hurried and made a quilt for her. I quilted it.

Her grandmother's favorite color is purple; in fact most of the fabric is from Grandma's stash. She loved Jinny Beyer's work and this star is called Grandmother's star on Jinny's web pages. I did a simple meandering flower and loop.

This grandmother taught my friend how to quilt. She will be missed but what she taught is continued.
