hey, looking at Halloween decorations reminded me of one of my favorite Christmas decorations (does that make any sense?) that I made a few years ago...and it was easy. Small clothespins, socks, ribbons and tags made an simple advent calendar. I had to buy an assortment of baby socks at the thrift store since my children had long out grown babyhood. I used an assortment of ribbon, but I love how the organdy bows looked. The first year I had some green bows also but I like the red best. I put 2 small candies like mints and small crunch bars in each of the 24 socks.
