Irish chain

I have the top and bottom border done! Now to take it out and turn it, figure out the corners and decide if I'm going to do diagonal lines 'behind' the feather. What do you think?

* edit; 5/19/14 It's home from the show and I may be crazy but I'm thinking of taking the binding off (it took a week to do, but it ripples a bit) attach the quilt to a long scrap and add some quilting to the feather...outline it or crosshatching? Then block it, then add a lengthwise cut binding, or is it add the binding then block it? Won't be done today though, I have 4 quilts inline to get done first now.
