zipper pouch

Here are the 3 zipper pouches I made for Jeffrey.

The front of 2 of them are screens. The blue screen fabric was purchased at a quilt shop; $9.00@yard.The fabric is a 'Texas' fabric and is full of first aid supplies.
The musical instruments pouch has a black fiberglass screen that was given to me at a local hardware store, Central Ace, (the 3rd one I contacted, the first 2 didn't have ANY fiberglass screen). I used every bit of a fat quarter of fabric; the strap is out of a solid black and the lining has some solid pieced in at top and bottom to stretch that fat quarter. I boxed the corners so it would stand and filled it with office supplies. This is what I included:
  • envelopes
  • tape
  • glue stick
  • post it notes
  • stapler and
  • staples
  • pens
  • pencils
  • highlighter
  • 2 permanent markers
  • 2 red pencils
  • pencil sharpener
  • stamps
  • binder clips
  • scissors
  • note pad
What office supply can you not live without?  There is room for a few more things....
The screen pouches are fully lined, except where the screen is. (I think I am quite ingenious to figure this out.....) The bicycle pouch has nail clippers and file...nail scissors.

3 more zippers used! 27 zipper pouches made! Unfortunately I purchased 1. The blue was unplanned, they were out of black screen. I did not want to get home and find that I had no blue zipper and not be able to make it unless I went to another store...So that leaves me 57 zippers...still a lot of zippers.
