What do you DO with leftover frosting?
I had to make my chocolate cupcakes again, for a potluck, and this time I used the frosting recipe that was on the link I sent you to last week. This one. Very nice but sweeter than the one that Cook's Illustrated had with their recipe. I never put a lot of frosting on my cupcakes, however these had a lot!
But I still had some left. So today I saw this on Pinterest. I did not follow her recipe for the ganache but I did use her crepe recipe and frosted each one until I had this:

Very nice. I was surprised that it wasn't cloyingly sweet as I thought it would be; it needed the powdered sugar! Now we have no frosting languishing in the fridge AND no crepes left over either.
