on my needles...just barely

Almost finished...but the cast off is tighter than the cast on and that might be a problem....so I'll do a search for a looser cast off and not finish this today.
The pattern is on ravelry, here.http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/purl-ridge-scarf
It is about 6" wide and feels great. the yarn is 41% cotton 39% wool and 7% elastic so is a bit stretchy...'cept the cast off eliminates the stretch on the edge....
Anyone know of a very stretchy cast off? I'm doing knit 2 together then put the stitch back on the left needle and then repeat....

I spent an hour on ravelry this morning and found ...oh, only about 4 hats I'd like to for my next knitting project!

Judy started a new pr of socks. You can see them here.

Try putting your last row on larger needles and then casting off. It will give you a bit looser cast off.

Lovely piece, Laurie. My knitting is too tight no matter what needles I use, so I just quilt instead.

Here is a link I use for my bindoffs - the extra stretchy worked great on the shawls I had done.

Hope those stretchy bindoff links work for you. It's a pretty scarf!
