Design wall

Last week my quilt looked like this:
I found, with the help of my local Quilt shop, one red fabric that worked for the second border! Then 'THE Queen of Triangles' had to put another row of triangles (352!) on. Not particularly fun but by now I feel driven to FINISH. Now I have another excuse to go to the quilt shop.
Yes, It needs ONE more border.
It will never be on the design wall again; it is just too hard to pin up standing on my tiptoes. My husband helped last week but now I'd have to get a step-stool even for him.

What is really on my design wall is so anti-climatic that it will have to wait for another week. One when I don't have THIS project to work on anymore. Wait a minute..... according to Judy 'Design Wall Monday' is not a forum to show finished projects....so I guess you won't see it finished unless you check my blog another day... (don't worry WHEN it is finally finished you will hear my YEAH!!! and I'll post a link to the post about the finish.)

So go to Judy's blog and see what other crazy quilters are working on.

I think getting where you are deserves a "YEAH!." It is a lovely quilt well beyond most people. Be very proud of yourself.

At five feet tall, the first thing I bought for my sewingroom was a ladder LOL. If I didn't, I would never get anything on my design all :)
