Quilt Kit #4

This year I made 3 or 4 Christmas blocks and gave them to my Baytown Quilt Guild. And won a quilt top! This year 44 people in the guild participated, donating blocks and sewing on work days. There were 41, 41! tops given away. Several were table runners, some lap size, and some big. One of the women I talked to said she makes 30-40 blocks each year!
I really loved the idea of giving this to one of my grandsons'....but then I'd have to make 5 more! So I'll wait, maybe in a few more years I'll have 6 to give.
You can only win one top of year no matter how many blocks you make. So I was thinking of a back and found this nutcracker fabric in my stash.....
Then bought a red that had the bright, orangy red and a darker red to ...well at least bind it, I may add a blue border, a red border and a nutcracker border....I might even pick out the teddy bears and put nutcrackers there...what do you think?
