Strip charity quilt

I am in charge of our congregations charity quilt donations. I try to get help making about 5 quilts a year. This is a design I came up with (with a little help from the internet) that suit the sewing ability of my helpers. :)
One cheerful, non-sewer got to lay out the squares. She did 3 different layouts and we chose one. This one:
After she brought me the squares to sew her almost 3 year old would take the finished square back to his mother. Then her 4 year old had to have her turn. Thank you Melissa, I really cannot bend over enough to do that job. I think this quilt will be a fun colorful addition to our line-up this year.
I'm making up kits to hand out for a new design we decided on....I'm sure to tell you about when we have a few blocks made.

Sounds like you had fun with your project and your helpers. I enjoy making charity quilts too!
