Tonight is a court of honor for my son's Scout troop. We were asked to make cookies. I'd seen these over at
Snackpicks and Andrew wanted to make them. At first we were going to start a fire...but it's HOT out there so I thought to try this:
It worked great we had no burnt ones. I think a half marshmallow for each cookie would have worked better; however I don't think the boys will mind.
The general consensus is that they are NOT very good cold. So I'll zap them in the microwave before the hordes come to eat them.
Since we had NO graham ers and had extra marshmallows we tried it out in a waffle bowl. A soggy bowl (from our humid climate) crisps up nicely in the oven. This was better, crisper than the typical
smore's.
