Design wall

I keep plodding along on this quilt. I'm not sure about the last border on the bottom block. I got a reproduction stripe that matches the inner blue border great but I'm not sure I like the stripe. A fat quarter does not give you enough fabric to not piece the strip; so I tried to match it but the feathers change direction... I made a bunch more triangles last week so I'll be able to get 2 more blocks made before I need more.... I like making the triangles and putting the blocks together might seem tedious to some but it is always interesting to see how the colors look together and see if I CAN get them to ALL line up. Then worry that if they are all lined up it will not be right somehow....The first one I did got all messed up but I like it that way.
One block I changed the direction in the middle of the row...Should I do another that way?
Will I really stick to it and actually finish this quilt?
Wouldn't this look great in solids?
Would a pillow on the couch would look good too?
Should I add purple to the borders?
Should I do more stripes or take the one I did apart?
How would I word how to do this in a pattern? In a class?
I've taken notes on lots of bits of papers, can I find them? I probably have 10 pages of graph paper drawn on for this quilt. I'm tempted to take one block off the wall and start the sashing; but really need to make more triangles first.

I love all the blocks. They look fabulous and I like the stripe.
All those HSTs! I always think of my friend who shivers when she has to make HSTs.

I'm impressed! How small are those little 1/2squares? You must have the patience of Job. The blocks really look nice.

I am in awe of that block. Is it your own design or is the pattern for sale somewhere.

Making the blocks is one thing but pressing them takes time too.
