Design Wall

I reworked my plan. Instead of 9 blocks I'm going for 16. That means....about 900 1" triangles and 900 1.5" triangles. Fun, fun, fun.

This week I've had no fun. Pneumonia; now Pleurisy. I did manage to sew in small segments. One block; that's all I've done. Literally; no bathrooms cleaned, meals made or laundry done...

A friend brought in 2 dinners that we've been eating for 4 days. I am working making some ribbons for my guild; a good sit down job. Glue a little, rest a lot, glue a little. 3 finished and 10 half? done. Who started this tradition of guilds having fabulous 'quilty' ribbons anyway?

edited: I exaggerated.... only 608 of each size....

Your blocks look beautiful! But what a daunting task of all these little triangles...
Please get well, soon!

Pleurisy hurts. Take good care of yourself so you can get back to all those triangles soon. It's already clear from the blocks on your design wall, this is going to be an amazing quilt.

Well, at least you did the important stuff. LOL Who wants to clean bathrooms feeling well, let alone feeling sick. The blocks are looking great. I'm enjoying watching this one grow.

Oh dear...take good care of yourself. It's amazing that you are still making some quilty progress when you have been so sick.

sending good healing thoughts to you, pleurisy is so nasty, take good care. It's difficult to rest as much as we should when there is so much we want to do. Take care.
btw-that is certainly a LOT of 1" & 1.5" whew! It's going to be so worth it though! :)
